*One year teller experience is REQUIRED for consideration*

* A working knowledge of Bankway would be a plus.; 
* Should have basic math and reasoning skills and possess problem-solving abilities;
* Essential skills are a general working knowledge of computers and moderate keyboarding skills.
* Necessary skills include organizational, the ability to communicate effectively and to work independently according to Bank policy and procedure.

Primary Objective - To serve and assist customers with their banking needs in a manner of excellent customer service, to be knowledgeable of new and existing Bank products and services in order to assess customer needs, and to accurately perform teller duties according to practice and procedure in a team-oriented environment (i.e. working in harmony with all bank employees). ALL job duties require strict adherence to all applicable federal and state rule and regulations as well as Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities - The intake of checking and savings account transactions, including cashing and processing checks, withdrawals and deposits; maintaining incoming and outgoing collections items; and possibly the ordering and receiving of currency/coins; balancing on a daily basis; assisting customers with questions regarding their account(s) and general banking needs; to perform job duties as assigned and to follow safety rules and regulations; other responsibilities as assigned. Teller could be assigned a rotating shift to be responsible for ATM maintenance.


Expectations are to perform all job duties and other responsibilities as assigned and to follow all safety rules and regulations.

Regular attendance according to the work schedule is necessary and essential as is receiving detailed information verbally, in person and by telephone. Extensive reading and computer use is expected the majority of the time.
