Qualifications - ONLY THOSE WHO MEET MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT
MUST have an established work history with at least one year of customer service
experience.;

Experience with safe deposit box would be ideal. Basic banking experience and a working knowledge of Bankway would be a plus;

 *A working knowledge of debits and credits and a general understanding of basic accounting would be ideal; 
* A basic working knowledge of Excel to maintain established spreadsheets;
* Basic math and reasoning skills and possess problem-solving abilities;
* Essential skills are a general working knowledge of computers and moderate keyboarding skills.
* Necessary skills include organizational, the ability to communicate effectively and positively and to work independently according to Bank policy and procedure.

Primary Objective - To serve and assist customers with their safe deposit box needs in a manner of excellent customer service, to be knowledgeable of new and existing Bank products and services in order to assess customer needs and to accurately perform these job duties according to practice and procedure in a team-oriented environment (i.e. working in harmony with all bank employees). ALL job duties require strict adherence to all applicable federal and state rule and regulations as well as Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities - Assist customers and branch personnel via Bankway with opening, closing, entry and changes to safe deposit box records; maintaining accurate records and taking payments according to written procedures; daily verification and mailing of SDB notices; scanning new contracts, documents and general ledger tickets into AutoSig; mailing loan notices and statements; maintaining past due activity reports; notifying branches of delinquent accounts and ensuring these procedures. Secondary responsibilities will include updating tabs and maintaining records of available boxes; assisting in the loan vault with filing, scanning and preparing loan labels and training others to serve as back-up for the SDB area.


Expectations are to perform all job duties and other responsibilities as assigned and to follow all safety rules and regulations.

Regular attendance according to the work schedule is necessary and essential as is receiving detailed information verbally, in person and by telephone. Extensive reading and computer use is expected the majority of the time.
